Hoosier Junior Championship

No caddies are allowed for this event.

The golf course will be set at the following approximate yardages. Yardages are subject to change based on weather and course conditions.

Boys- 7032
Girls- 6068

Proper dress is required at all Indiana Golf Foundation events.

Boys- Collared shirts or mock turtlenecks must be worn and tucked in at all times.

Girls- Shirts without a collar must have sleeves. Fashion shirts worn untucked MUST NOT rise above the belt line at any time during the golf swing. Shorts MUST be of fingertip length.

All hats and visors are to be worn with the bill to the front.
No denim pants/shorts or cut-offs are permitted.

Range Balls for this event will be provided free to players the morning before each competition round. Players wishing to hit range balls after the round will need to purchase them from the Otter Creek Pro Shop.

The Championship is open to boys and girls between the ages of 14-18 as of October 19, 2008. Players must be Junior golfers and not have graduated high school.

The field is limited to 120 players. Reserved spots are as follows:

88 spots reserved for Boys until September 1, 2008 at 5:00 pm
32 spots reserved for Girls until September 1, 2008 at 5:00 pm
40 total spots (Boys & Girls) reserved for non-Indiana residents until September 1, 2008 at 5:00 pm

Entries are processed on a first come first serve basis.

After September 1st at 5:00pm, available spots will be filled by players on the Waiting List.

Lunch will be provided for players on Saturday, October 18 only.

Players only will be offered a discounted rate of $25 plus cart fee if you choose to rent a cart.

The Hoosier Junior Championship is ranked by

• Golfweek/Titleist

Both the Boys and Girls Champion will receive 1 AJGA exemption

USGA Rules of Golf govern all play.

Any player that wishes to withdraw, must do so before the entry deadline of October 3, 2008 at 5:00pm in order to receive a refund.
