Title:  Camp Facilities
Detail:

Property/Complex

Campers must remain on Academy Property at all times, unless escorted by a counselor or given permission to leave by a counselor.  The Academy property includes the Dye Course, the Academy practice tee, green, and bunker.  The Legends of Indiana property is off limits.  A counselor must give permission before a camper can go to the Legends golf shop or course.

Building/Complex

Campers are restricted to the dorm areas, cafeteria and patio areas within and around the Academy building.  The administrative offices and museum areas are off limits unless otherwise given permission by a counselor.  At night a motion detector alarm system is set in the main building.  Golf shoes with metal spikes are prohibited in all areas of the building and golf courses.

Dormitory Areas

There will be two campers per room who will share a common bathroom with the adjacent room.   We provide BED LINENS and COMFORTERS for the beds.  Dorm rooms shall be kept clean at all times.  Beds will be made each morning; clothes and trash will be off the floor and properly put in their place.  After lights out the alarm system will be activated and campers shall remain in their rooms until wake-up time.   Campers may use the cafeteria.   Weapons, alcohol or tobacco products of any kind are strictly prohibited.  Violators will be sent home-NO REFUNDS!  No climbing on tables or wardrobes.  No jumping on beds.  Periodic room checks will be made to assure these rules are adhered to.

Bathrooms

The bathrooms are to be kept clean daily.  Flush the toilet after each use.  Use trashcans and take towels back to your room to be dried on the towel rack inside wardrobes.  Do Not leave toiletries; shave kits, soap, shampoo in bathrooms.  Two rooms are sharing a bathroom so respect the privacy and rights of each person.  Both rooms are responsible for the cleanliness of the bathroom.  Report any damage or problems to a counselor immediately upon discovery.

Dining Hall/Cafeteria

Campers are not allowed in the kitchen/food prep area of the cafeteria.  Adults or counselors will operate all equipment in the kitchen.
